What is CP6?
Control Period 6 (CP6) is the biggest spending control period network rail have planned in recent times. The five year framework for the rail industry has an investment of over £47bn pounds. The rail infrastructure will see significant improvements to our great industry including new station builds, electrification and signalling schemes. This is an opportunity to great to pass up! So letís enjoy the launch, connect to some great people and look forward to the next five years.
Why CP6 launch & Millian?
Millianís history is operational railway. While working in the industry we discovered a vast majority of projects were searching for companies to carry out certain jobs/sub contracts. The time spent searching, cross checking and vetting companies before signing contracts has been slowing down projects for decades. Letís speed this process up by making these relationships and gaining trust in advance of the contracts and hit the ground running.
We have designed an event which brings together over 300 rail professionals to discuss, network and build partnerships which are invaluable to this period. Amongst the crowds will be Tocs/Focs, Clients, Tier one & Tier two contractors and suppliers looking to form relationships with the best in the industry. The evening will start with a champagne reception followed by a 3 course meal and drinks for your table. We can then look forward to our guest speaker Rob Morris taking to the stage closely followed by the main event of the night, networking with all of our guests from different companies.
Rob was appointed Managing Director Rail Automation in 2017, following a highly successful reign as Director of Operations. With an industry career spanning four decades and significant expertise in relationship management and collaborative working, he will be the perfect leader to deliver an insightful speech on the new control period and confidently comment on the long-term plan for the UK Rail Industry.Would you really risk losing out on your next big contract because you underestimate the value of networking? Secure your tables today before they all sell out.
